7 Mar WWW Wednesday

Hi All,

Another week, another WWW Wednesday. I feel like it’s only been a day or two since I posted my last one. It’s been a busy week, but due to the “East from the Beast” delivering plenty of snow to the UK over the weekend, I managed to get some decent reading time in whilst snowed in.

This is a weekly feature run by Taking on a World of Words whereby you blog answering the following 3 questions;

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What have you recently read?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

All you have to do is answer the questions and post a link to your post in the comments on Sam’s post. Easy Peasy and fun right? How can one resist.

Suicide ClubWhat are you currently reading?

I was hoping to have this book finished by the time I posted this week, but it’s actually a little longer than I expected so I’m actually only about 50% of the way through. If you follow my WWW Wednesday posts, then you’ll already know that Suicide Club by Rachel Heng is a science fiction book, which isn’t top of my genre choice, but not bottom either. I’m enjoying this read. I wouldn’t say I’m blasting through it at record pace, but I definitely don’t have any complaints so far. It’s an interesting concept for the book and I’m looking forward to seeing where the storyline ends up going.

I’m also still listening to Foreign Fruit by Jojo Moyes. I’ve not done an awful amount of driving this week so far, so although I blasted through a lot of it to begin with, I’ve had a bit of a break. So far though, so good. Will definitely have this finished by the time I post next week.

The Perfect GirlfriendWhat have you recently read?

I finished The Perfect Girlfriend by Karen Hamilton and my oh my this was a good book. I had nothing but good, good and more good to say about this one (which you can read about in my review) and I would highly recommend this once it’s published. I think my partner is on edge after how much I raved about loving it and I made the most of winding him up. This is Karen Hamilton’s first novel and she has done a marvellous job in my opinion!

How do you like me nowWhat do you think you’ll read next?

Now this is a battle of priorities for me as I’m behind on my BOTM reads but also have an ARC sitting waiting for review. I always try and get ARC’s read as soon as I can, so the ARC wins this time around. So, next I am going to pick up How Do You Like Me Now? by Holly Bourne. This is a debut adult novel from bestseller Holly Bourne (who’s work I haven’t read before) and I’m looking forward to starting. The tagline of “…navigating the emotional rollercoaster of your thirties” caught me straight away for this book, and why wouldn’t it?! I’m female. I’m in my thirties. This book is for me! Hopefully it lives up to my expectations.

There we are, my three Wednesday Ws or (say it as you see it) wuh wuh wuh Wednesday as I like to call it. I’d love to hear from you if you’ve read any of the books in this post or previous ones. Drop me a comment, let me know your thoughts.

Happy reading all!
